What if my opponent disconnects?

There are various outcomes for disconnected matches.

A "loser disconnect" happens when a player disconnects from a match while losing, resulting in an automatic loss.

A "winner disconnect" happens when a player disconnects from a match while winning, resulting in a replay from the point of disconnect.

A "tied match disconnect" happens when a player disconnects while the match is tied, resulting in the match being placed into arbitration, and our Community Engagement team will determine the outcome.

How do you play from the point of disconnect?

In order to replay your match from the point of disconnect, you must first score any goals/points from your original disconnected game. We suggest that you score your own goals/points where possible to complete this process quickly. Please note that you do not have to replicate the exact score of your original match; the difference in scores is acceptable. Once you have scored the necessary points you will have to let the clock run down to the point of disconnect, and then start your game from that point on.

Where can I find my Match Details?

The Match detail is shown on the Match option found on the Header Section details page.

Can I cancel a leaderboard match once it is in progress?

If you are not able to go forward with the match for some reason, you and your opponent can mutually agree to cancel the match. First, click on the Cancel button and submit a reason. The reason will be sent to your opponent. Your opponent may accept or decline your cancellation request. If they accept, the match will be cancelled.

I won my game but my active match on the Home page is gone. How do I report my win?

If you have completed and won your game and do not see your active match on your Home page, then your opponent has already reported their loss. Your win should be automatically recorded.

What is a dispute?

A dispute happens when both you and your opponent report a win for the same match.

What happens if my match is in a dispute?

If both you and your opponent have reported a win, then your match will be converted into a "dispute state". Once your match is in the dispute state, the only action you can take for that match is to add evidence. Our Community Engagement team will investigate the dispute and distribute the win accordingly.
